A Program, Not Just a Place to Sleep
Unlike many shelters where you sign in each night hoping for an open bed, here you have a guaranteed place to stay. The same bed. The same community. Real stability. We assess what you need when you arrive, whether that's medical care, legal help, job training, or simply time to heal. Then we work with you to address those needs one step at a time. During the day, residents can work at our thrift store, building job skills and staying productive. We're not just giving you a place to wait out hard times. We're helping you build a foundation for what comes next.
” I am definitely a work in progress. I’m so blessed that supporters like you allow me to learn and progress at my own pace. This has allowed me to change my life in a way I would never have been able to on my own. I am eternally grateful.”
Mark
“The Haven has taught me a lot about true happiness and contentment. I have grown closer to God and all I want to do is help others know Jesus and the peace He gives. I am thankful for all the Haven has done to get me where I am today.”
Jimmy
“I would recommend anyone in my situation to go there. Work the program and they will take care of you. The Haven was the best thing that ever happened to me because it prepared me for the life I’m living now. I’m in church every Sunday with my family and my mom is proud of me. The Haven made that difference for me.”
Mark
“At a time in my life of ‘darkness’, the Lord directed my path. He lit my feet as lamps, he centered me at the Haven.”
Sabrina
After a close, personal loss, Michael found himself in a situation that severely affected his mental health. “I was narcissistic, selfish, and self-absorbed.” he says bluntly. “It was always about me and doing what I wanted without concern for others in my life.”
Michael
“The Haven was probably the best thing that has ever happened to me. The counseling I received made me realize that I was worth something and gave me the confidence to live independently. I was able to reconnect with God and I really enjoyed my time there.”
Tammy
“The structure and accountability changed everything for me. I learned how to budget, show up to work every day, and plan for the future. I couldn’t have done it without Haven.”

“When I came to Haven, I didn’t believe things could be different. The residential program gave me time to get my life together and people who believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself. Now I have my own place and a job I’m proud of.”

“I came to The Grace Home with nothing but the clothes on my back. I was scared, exhausted, and didn’t know what to do next. The staff didn’t judge me—they just helped me figure out my next step. For the first time in a long time, I felt safe. That made all the difference.”
