The Haven Pantry provides an approximate three day emergency portion of food to individuals in need. We would like to welcome you to The Pantry. To be sure that we can be most effective in helping you, there are a few items that we need to verify and that you must bring on every visit. Unfortunately, we will not be able to provide you with assistance without this information.
What do I need to qualify? In order to receive food from the pantry you will need: (a) A proof of current address. (e.g. utility bill) (b) A photo identification card. (b) The Social Security card for each household member. (c) The food stamp approval or denial letter. (d) Proof of income (e) Must be at poverty level or below. Click here for HHS 2016 Poverty Level Chart. Information I need to know: (a) The Food Pantry is open on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. (b) I must be signed in by 10:30 (c) I must $500.00 per month or less in food stamp assistance (d) I am responsible for keeping the letter issued by the Food Pantry stating the date I am authorized another visit. (e) I must bring the items listed in (a-e) above each time. * * * Please Note * * * This is a non-smoking campus. Vulgar, hateful or foul language is not acceptable.
